RTS Global d.o.o. (hereinafter referred to as RTS Global) is aware of its responsibility in protecting the personal data of passengers, which we require for the execution of our activities. The purpose of the Data Protection Policy is to inform service users and visitors to the website www.gremovegipt.si about the use and storage of personal data.
We collect, store, and process all acquired personal data of passengers in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and our data protection policy. It is considered that by registering for a journey or ordering our services, the passenger consents to the use of this data for service execution.
1. Type and Purpose of Personal Data Processing
We use personal data solely for the purposes of preparing offers, making reservations, issuing invoices, and organizing travel in accordance with the legislation in Egypt. The necessary data upon registration include the first and last name, date of birth, residential address, nationality (for determining visa requirements and entry conditions to Egypt), passport number, and its validity.
By law, we are required to issue an invoice for our services, which includes the customer’s data and data about the provided service, and we are obliged to keep it for ten years. These data include the subscriber’s name, last name, and residential address, as well as all services and their prices.
We also require personal data for personal communication during programme preparation and travel notifications, for which we need the email address and telephone number.
When booking tourist services, we collect personal data of companions in addition to the applicant’s data. The applicant is obliged to ensure that they have the consent of their companions to share their personal data with the RTS Global agency.
The website www.gremovegipt.si, operated by RTS Global, records IP addresses of networks from which individuals access the website’s content. Users of the www.gremovegipt.si website agree to the use of cookies to ensure the functionality of all website features, web analytics, and advanced advertising. General information is automatically stored with each access to our online offering (e.g., the number of visitors and the duration of visits on individual pages, etc.). These data are not personal and are therefore processed in anonymized form. We use this type of data exclusively for statistical purposes and to optimize our online offering.
With explicit consent, we use personal data for legitimate marketing purposes, including marketing analysis, direct marketing, and contacting individuals to improve our services.
With express consent, we also use personal data to send information about our offerings via email. Based on consent, we send email to all those who have filled out a subscription for receiving notifications. By subscribing to receive notifications, the user consents to the use of their email address for the purpose of notifications. When sending email to the user’s address, we also retain the history of sent messages and clicks on links in the messages. Consent can be withdrawn or modified by the user at any time.
2. Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties
We do not disclose personal data to third parties, except for the purposes of organizing and carrying out tourist services when we provide personal data to contractual partners (e.g., hotels and other accommodations, airlines and other public transport providers, global online travel service providers such as Go Global and Booking, Royal Travel Services agency that provides services in Egypt, local Egyptian authorities for issuing travel permits when required). Personal data is disclosed only within the framework allowed by legal regulations, solely in cases where it is necessary for the execution of your reservation or related payment procedures.
Collection and disclosure of personal data to state institutions and offices are carried out only within the framework of mandatory legal regulations.
We explicitly state that we do not sell personal data to third parties.
3. Retention Period of keeping Personal Data
RTS Global may retain data from the contractual relationship with the passenger or service subscriber for up to five years after its termination for the purpose of substantiating potential claims arising from this relationship.
We retain invoices for services rendered in accordance with the law for 10 years after the end of the year to which the invoice relates.
Data based on an individual’s consent for marketing purposes related to RTS Global services can be kept for as long as necessary to carry out marketing activities.
4. Responsibility by RTS Global for Managing Personal Data
The management of personal data is the responsibility of RTS Global d.o.o., Podvine 36, 1410 Zagorje ob Savi. The responsible person is the director of the company.
Personal data, i.e., information that can be used to identify the passenger (e.g., first and last name, address, phone number, date of birth, passport number), is protected against accidental or intentional manipulation, data loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by security technical and organizational solutions.
5. Rights of RTS Global Service Users Regarding the Use of Their Personal Data
Users of RTS Global services have the following rights related to the use and storage of personal data:
- The right to know what personal data we store and for how long,
- The right to access data,
- The right to correct data,
- The right to prohibit the use of incorrect data,
- The right to data erasure,
- The right to restrict processing,
- The right to data portability,
- The right to object,
- The right to lodge a complaint.
Subscribers who have given consent to receive notifications have the option to unsubscribe from receiving notifications by sending an email to tourism@rts-global.net.
6. Complaints About the Use of Personal Data
Every user of RTS Global services or visitor to the www.gremovegipt.si website has the right to file a complaint regarding the processing of personal data. Complaints can be sent to the email address tourism@rts-global.net. Furthermore, anyone whose personal data is concerned has the right to file a complaint directly with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia if they believe that the processing of personal data related to them violates Slovenian regulations or EU regulations in the field of personal data protection.
7. Validity of the Personal Data protection Policy
The Personal Data Protection Policy is valid from January 1, 2021, and is published on the website www.gremovegipt.si.
